Very happy with my doctors care at Red Beach Doctors. She is very understanding and nice, a welcome change from doctors I’ve had in the past.nThe only problem I have encountered is with trying to make appointments via the app or website, it always says she’s fully booked for the next 6 months, even though she’s not.
Pre-paid for doctors appointment a few months back to see if we could get some kind of respite or help for the primary caregiver of an ill family member, so they could have a few hours a week to collect groceries, pay bills, house cleaning, etc. Doctor said there was nothing they could do, no referrals, no information about community service options, nothing. Reception was very rude, not customer focused at all. Tried to get their script transferred and delivered through a free delivery service to save them having to collect and sort their myriad of pills. Doctor had no idea what we were talking about. Said they’d follow up and I’ve now just found out that the new script had been sent to the same pharmacist as before and now my parent is stuck with a 3 month script of loose pills that they need to sort. Hopeless! Phoned clinic today and reception have said they will make a note on patient file, now we have to wait 3 months to see if they’ve done their jobs correctly. Frustrating. Just a business model focused on $$$, no customer care. Money for jam.
I have removed my self and my family from the practise, since decent doctors like John and Patch have gone as well as great nurses this place is a shambles, I went in to renew a script of medication - the same ones I have been taking for the same condition for 5 years and longer - I had to see the new female dr Saley, She then treated it as a new condition and then took away medications and changed doses, I rely on,these medications and this is set off a very bad chain for me - having autism and something like that change so sudden can be disruptive and detrimental . She didn’t even have a valid reason to take my medication away, . Also as some one that suffered anorexia in my 20s to be told I’m obese at a size 10 is abhorrent. But she hadnt even bothered to know my history so I’m not surprised she was so terrible. . I wouldn’t go there even if it was made a free clinic, and open all hours.nnWe are now all at Stanmore bay medical centre and could not be happier, the nurses and drs and reception staff are amazing . Highly reccomend you leave red beach if you value your health and the care you receive

I recently moved to this area and visited this GP for the first time. This was my worst medical experience ever. No one here cares about your health or well-being. I was trying to get a referral letter, and even though I called twice a day to follow up, it has been two whole weeks, and I still haven’t received it. Despite explicitly telling the reception and the nurse that I was in severe pain and couldn’t sleep, they kept brushing me off with the same excuses. Each time I called, I had to explain the situation all over again because they didn’t even bother to take notes from the previous calls. If you don’t want to get better, then come here. Their entire system ensures that you’ll feel both frustrated and helpless. It’s a complete waste of time, energy, and money. I will never come back again.
