Amazing medical centre! Was seen right away with no issues, was able to book in same day. Friendly hospitable nurses & doctors who made me feel warm and welcomed in the clinic. Family are all enrolled here now. Very grateful for everyone's support today!
The Doctors Drury is a small clinic, but has been wonderful ever since I've been going there. Yes, wait times for appointments were long during and following the covid era hence many of the 1-star reviews but that was out of their hands. Appointment availability is much improved these days.nnThere is an app where you can book your appointments so you don't have to call reception and wait, unless you need a double length slot. There is an accessibility ramp at the front of the clinic for those of us that need it.nnI see Dr. Chan who is so kind and caring. She actually listens to her patients and works with you to find a solution to your problem. With her help and expertise, my chronic health problems have become more manageable.nnThe nurses and reception staff are lovely and patient, and honestly saints for having to deal with some of you people, yikes.nnI will be sad if I have to move far away because I love this doctor's office.
I'm really happy with The Doctors Drury. Dr Sophie Chan is so lovely. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful whenever I have called for advice or appointment. I managed to get a same day appointment for my sick child the other day and was very pleased with how the whole process was handled. So grateful to have this Practice so close to where we live in Drury. Thank you for taking care of us, when we know the medical service is extremely stretched at the moment!
I have been with this Surgery for over 30 years and i have passed through many good Doctors over these years.nI recently had an operation ten days prior and i was concerned about a possible infection at the wound site. Unfortunately I could not access the sight visually, tried to see a Doctor on the day my Doctor was away and no free appointments.nI was given a callback by a Nurse, whom agreed to check me out.nWhat true professional very through and gentle, inspecting my 1960s rectum. I was so embarrassed !...she said it OK I am a nurse and carried on.nRachel Florence Nightingale deserves the Victoria Cross.nnThanksnBen Crowe
I have been at this practice my entire life. Starting off with a male dr I then moved to dr Lynette Ashby when I was around 12. She is also my mums and my sisters doctor. The past few years she has absolutely neglected her job as a doctor and just loves to prescribe pills instead of actually dealing with the problem. She has told me multiple times that I’m making my own health issues up in my head which no patient ever wants to hear.nThe reason for my one star is recently my mum had a pain in her chest. Id like to think after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 that dr Ashby would have a bit more concern when my mum brought this up to her: instead dr Ashby told my mum she would refer her for a chest X-ray.which she never did send the referral and she also didn’t tell my mum she didn’t need a referral for a chest X-ray.nTwo months later my mum and I were in Middle-more for one of my appointments. We walked past the X-ray room and it said chest X-ray walk ins only. My mum was seen within half an hour. She got her diagnosis that she had cancer again shortly after that.nMy mum passed away last Sunday as she had a stroke and the cancer spread to her brain. I am not trying to say this was preventable but if Dr Ashby had have done her job with more care and concern I would’ve had more time and maybe just maybe my mum wouldn’t have had to experience all that pain.nI am incredibly disappointed by Lynette as she is my family doctor and she doesn’t care.
