The Dining Room

We have had several meals here for dinner and have enjoyed the consistency of our meals. Service has been great. Meals excellent. Nice venue but at times it has felt a little cold with the front door being open. I would recommend the Dining Room.

Nice old building. The food was good when we went, and the staff are friendly.

Excellent waitress, always so friendly The red wine sauce you get with the steak is revolting. Tastes like poison

Lovely meals would go again couldn't fault

Would complain about the service but there was none. Unable to comment on the food, was seated and waited for a good 5-10min without a menu or a bottle of water so we left. Will be surprised if the establishment sees out the year.

I went there for lunch on a Wednesday... possibly a quiet day... but the our meals was served in a timely fashion and the sevice was excellent. But best of all was the quality of our kai. BEAUTIFUL. The only down fall was that i even got back to work on time. Haha. AND... the price...

Had a lovely pasta lunch and ate in the sunny courtyard. Licenced and chilled wine delivered immediately before meal. Staff all smiles and chatty without interruption. Checked all was ok and offered service. Good all round experience oh and good music.

The staff are very warm and friendly. The cafe is smartly presented and features a very usable wind sheltered out door area. The food is at a very high standard and often features New Zealand themed meals. This Cafe is pushing boundarie in this small town. You must try their Tomato soup and Rewena bread!
