We brought Fish and Chips. The taste was ok. They served us well. They have lot of variety of takeaway food. Lot of parking space. Bit pricey but I guess in these areas it is normal. Need more workers as they were busy. We had to wait for 30 minutes more for our order
Went for lunch, and it was delicious. Had fish and salad, fish was so fresh. Cant fault the food...however..each time i have been over last 2 years, the inside cleanliness is a bit of a let down. Window sills are always dirty as are windows. As they are right beside table its a bit hard to ignore, when you are trying to capture the gorgeous view. Wouldnt it be nice also for the furniture outside tidied up, maybe a nail hammered in, a bright colour added....all this would triple the invitation to delight in the beautiful tasting food..
Stopped in at 10am ish early Dec on a Saturday. Had place virtually to ourselves ,sun was shining, views were amazing,food and service was great.Imagine this place is booked out in summer... apparently do dinners as well
Kumara fries were very good, but everything else overpriced and underdelivered. Paid $9 for a fruit 'smoothie' that was tiny and more like a thin vanilla milkshake. Couldn't taste any fruit in it. Sandwich was loaded at the front to make it look like it had more ingredients in it - had to reshuffle it when unpacked.
First & last time here unfortunately as not impressed. Ordered breakfast but asked for coffee to be in takeaway cups to have in which was all good but also ordered breakfast which first arrived at the table in takeaway containers so asked for it to be put on normal plates. We ordered the big breakfast and just bacon & eggs. So bacon and eggs was ok but my big breakfast what another story as the scrambled eggs had some sort of disgusting hollandaise sauce over the top of them some sort of garnish that had been stuffed under the eggs. Was very disappointed especially for the price.
Made a random stop in between shows today...and this place DELIVERED! First off the view is amazing! The staff was super friendly and made great and honest recommendations without being pushy at ALL! I ended up going with the fish of the day a fish I had never had based on their recommendation and it was perfect...truly even better than I was anticipating. It’s quaint, it’s simple and it’s a DELIGHTFUL stop! It gets my 5 stars for SURE!
The jewel in McLeod Bay. Went with a group of friends on route to Ocean Beach. Surprisingly nice foods pizzas. Good to have free wifi connection at where no phone coverage. Service could have been better, but no major concern for the nice food and view!

We were just exploring and found this cafe around 1:10-ish so we decided to go in and see what the food was like. It was the best burger I have ever tasted -Cranberry chicken burger is a must have-. The service was extremely good and fast and the people working were also very nice, 10/10 cafe, it also has a great view.
my partner and I ordered takeaway from here this afternoon, lovely staff and delicious food. It’s a must try!
