Just moved to the area. Out for a ride on my motorbike and it caught my eye. Popped in for a refreshing cider and was very impressed with the village atmosphere. Will definitely be back and probably regularly. Food & drinks: Perfectly chilled glass of cider. Wasn't hungry but the menu will definitely tempt me in the future. Noteworthy details: This place is as historic as it comes!
Loved it and the Guinness. Only wish we'd been there when the kitchen was open. Sat out in the beautiful garden. We only hope the Lily of the Valley bulbs survived. Will be going back for a lunch and Guinness one weekend soon.Service: 5/5

We enjoy and look forward to a meal every Friday lunchtime. Great service value for money meals. I am trying out the entire menu by ordering something different every week - have never been disappointed. Staff are friendly and approachable - great spot.
We ordered two souvlaki. Had a taste of old sauce spew. The naan bread was a nice snack with the few meat pieces. Cereal for dinner I guess. Very disappointing.
