This place serves the best pizza I have had, pretty much ever. No joke. Homemade dough and tomato sauce, vegetarian options excellent. Local beers on tap, warm and welcoming environment. I would go out of my way to go back.

We stayed for a night at the NZMCA site, and visited the information centre where the lady there recommended The Cowshed as a great place to eat......she was right. The “build your own” pizza was DELICIOUS and the green salad too. Highly recommended; great food, great service, and not overly priced. Highly recommend

Awesome pizzas!! We just got takeaway but would love to come for a sit down meal. Menu looks great. The pizzas were really tasty with a good selection of toppings.
