I have been here a few times and haven’t been disappointed by either the coffee or the food. One of the gems of Putaruru.

Food and drinks were not good enough. My daughter's poached eggs were too sour because chef added too much white vinegar. Mushrooms were cut too thin, so I couldn't taste any mushroom texture. Hot chocolate was like hot milk, too weak and too less froth. Staff was friendly.
We always stop off here. Excellent service, food and ambience. A cafe that could hold its own in the cbd of any major city in nz.
Best on the road feed you can get. Quick stop on the main road awesome hearty food, don’t worry about stoping in taupo and wasting hours away. This is the place to stop
Stopped in for a takeaway coffee on our way through town. Amazing service with a greeting at the door and a barista who knew exactly what each of us ordered and personally delivered it to us. Coffee itself is tasty and hot.
