The Costume Studio

Really cool shop with a huge varied selection of themed costumes ranging from period to fantasy. A lot of the items looked like the ones you'd see on a professional period film set. People were popping in during Halloween season to get decked up for their own events.

HORRIBLE experience! The staff were extremely unhelpful and snobby. I overheard them talking with other customers on the phone, and they sounded extremely rude even then! They only chat with each other and don't pay any attention to their customers. They also don't have inclusive sizes and do not have a lot of quality items... Would not recommend it!

The most professional costume rental store I've ever been too, which makes sense since they work with film companies. Was looking for a Henry the VIII and they has 4 different varieties and all the accessories and shoe sizes you could need.

Theatre costumes, great quality and range with one caveat - not much for women size 14+.

My wife and I were on a weekend break over from the Netherlands. Just walking along the road to get some breakfast, we stumbled upon the Costume Studio. My wife is a professional seamstress so she just had to take a peak. We asked if we could have a look around and to our surprise we were invited in! My wife spent more than three quarters of an hour gawking at the amazing collection of costumes available and the owners were more than friendly in explaining how the business works. Wow! If this is how they treat a couple of odd and nosy tourists, then this would definitely be the place I’d take my business

Rented a last minute costume for Bridgerton Secret Cinema. The service was beyond amazing, in less than 30 minutes left with a perfectly fitting outfit that looked absoluttely stunning. Will be definitely returning for other events too!

It's probably the best costume house in London. The owner is very helpful too.
