Very poorly cooked fries here. The fries were overdone and too oily. Not the usual coffee club standard as in Auckland. Could see most tables with leftover fries which the seagulls had to take care off.
Good environment, friendly staffs however the food is alright, nothing special. I ordered big breakfast but in it i only got 1 leaf of spinach, like literally ONE. To my surprise there is a small steak in the breakfast but cooked well done. Coffee is good though. So overall experience is okay but not gonna be worth my 2nd trip for this. I give 3 stars for good environment, good coffee and friendly staffs despite they are full of customers in the cafe.
Food was good but when I when to grab a takeaway box, the server took away my mostly full plate. I even had my fork and knife arranged to let the server know that I'm not finished. The manager need to teach the staff basic on how to do their job
Great service but let down by a below par carrot cake - a lack of cream cheese in the icing and terribly heavy on the cinnamon. Seagulls seemed to like it. The coffee was average at best.
Hit and miss here. The club sandwiches are made differently each time I’ve been. The chicken Parmesana was such a disappointment for $26, it wasn’t a real chicken breast it was a thin bit of processed chicken with a commercial crumbed coating - it was like eating a patty from a cheap burger. I felt completely ripped off, it was not what I was expecting at all. There was nothing chef like about it, just disgusting. Also, the cabinet baking is frozen overnight if it doesn’t sell - we have had items still frozen in the middle and the staff refuse to answer the question when asked if it has been frozen previously.
It's ironic that a place called The Coffee Club can make a coffee so badly. I had an espresso, watery and warm, I could have made a better one myself with instant coffee.Food: 1/5
Worst coffee club experience Service Except from the girl at the reception, rest of the staff was rude and uninterested in their job. Considering it is very busy location they should be trained to handled pressure and treat their patrons with kindness.
Honestly speaking it is not the best place to have breakfast in. But in case there is no other options it works as well. Hot chocolate was good. Big breakfast was definitely for 3 stars, my omelette was for 3 stars as well.
Great food, we also had some very friendly service. Pleased with the menu. The only thing is that it seems a bit overpriced for what they're serving.
Good place to meet up or grab coffee on the go nice choice of sweet things as well
