The China Table - Vintage Tea Parties

My love affair with old china began a long time ago,
the treasure hunter’s gene is in my DNA.
I love a good rummage & the serendipity of finding that little gem
Researching the history & stories behind each piece,
& delight in that moment when others find their treasure.

I created The China Table so I could share my love for vintage china
& use the experience I’ve gained over the years in setting up & running parties, events & celebrations.

Vintage Tea Parties - whether it’s a birthday, a reunion of old friends
or simply an afternoon spent together reminiscing.

Life so far …
I started worked in the travel industry, went on to work in hospitality for 15 years in the Plimmerton area & also worked on various committees
& with RDA – Riding for the Disabled.
I also set-up & ran 2 successful companies:- Cushy numbers - designer cushions & parties are us – running children’s parties, combining my organisational & communication skills with my experience coordinating teams of people & running events.
I enjoyed the rapport with customers & made many great friends over the years.

I am married to Andrew my best friend, we have lived in Camborne for over 30 years now, our roots are here, we love our beautiful part of the world, its people, coastline and community
We are so blessed to have 3 kids & 7 grand kids, being a Nana means the world to me encouraging younger generations, sharing life experiences & making new history.

I now run my 2 companies
