The Cheesecake Shop Manukau

The worst cake ever. Double chocolate mud cake. Which you would expect to be lovely and moist. Absolutely not. It was hard dry and crumbly. When I took it into the store the customer service Was horrific and said that the kitchen staff said that there was nothing wrong with the cake. And that if there was an issue it could have been a result of the Uber driver. Absolutely BS. She wasn’t interested at all. I told her she could keep the cake and eat it themselves and hoped They enjoyed it!

Very yummy cake. So soft and light. Mom loved the tropical torte and the midi size was good enough for a 7-8 pieces

Got a custom single layer vanilla sponge cake with frosting for sisters 21st. The frosting tasted plastic and the sponge cake was incredibly dry. Very simple cake made very badly. Revisit your recipes please for they need a lot of improvement especially with the price we were charged $120+ was not worth the money at all. A box cake would have been 100x better but we thought we’d get something special

Amazing service. Great advice from the lovely lady at the shop when we found out we needed a wedding cake with less than 24 hours notice and it was boxing day. Thank you. You saved the day for us.!!

Very poor customer service. Went to buy cake waited so long no one came to serve. One of the staff was cleaning shop was doing mopping and two other staff were following her like they were learning how to clean shop floor instead of take care of their customers who were there to buy cakes. When I ask for half size of one the cake in display the staff just said we don’t have it only this one available. Didn’t offer any other option just said we don’t have it and gone inside. Very bad experience i had. Will never go back again there.

Excellent customer service... Thank you Christina. Such a wonderful display of cakes, cheesecakes, cake pops. Beautiful selection and friendly service makes this shop stand out from the others. This is definitely our go to place for beautifully made cakes.... From your black forest to your Apple crumble, mango, passion fruit cheesecakes. Mmmmm definitely something for everyone.

EXTREMELY BAD AND RUDE SERVICE from this place from manager. Save your money and go somewhere else. Honestly this store has been getting SO MUCH worse since the new owner came.

Very poor customer service from your manukau store. I asked for half Black Forest Contiental Cheese cake however was rudly served from one of your employee Smruti saying she can't accommodate for that due to half of the cheese cake not been able to sell due to the government accouncement this afternoon. She mentioned she could do half of the cheese cake in any other flavor apart from the black forest one which didn't make any sense to me wouldn't it be the same for any other cake?? She mentioned that the flavour was exclusive to the store but how would a customer know this!!! I kept saying to her if that was the case than the sign for half the cheese cake being available should be crossed out instead of giving customer false/inaccurate information. She kept arguing with me and being personal about my job that i am a manager I had my uniform on and that I should be understanding infront of other customers. She would not apologize about correcting the sign yet being very argumentative about the whole thing. My issue is if something is not available the sign should be changed and if the store can not correct the displayed sign than at least apologize and not attack me personally. I felt very disrespected by the situation. I felt making a profit by selling the whole cake was more important than customer satisfaction. An ex employee of the store was also there and mentioned to your employee that customer satisfaction should be the stores first priority, your employee argued with her as well. The behavior of your employee was very inappropriate and disrespectful which should be addresses!!!
