I love this little cafe. Friendly staff always have a warm welcome to greet you. The cafe is quaint and warm with extra seating downstairs. Or in the garden. Food is excellent, fresh and bread is made daily in store. Highly recommend the grazing box which you can pre order to take on a pick nick.
Hot chocolate was spot on, warming, great presentation. Fast service and polite. Cookie was excellent We'll be back for lunch next time. Everything looked and smelt amazing!
Went here for a lunch, had the meat and cheese platters. Food was delicious, staff were very friendly and welcoming and the venue was well run by the staff. Would happily visit again!
Dropped into the Cheese Room Café for a light lunch. We sat in the garden/back yard. The halloumi burger and quesadilla were both really tasty. The service was as good as the food.
We looked at the menu and fancied some small dishes so decided to try our luck on a bank holiday. We walked in and no one met us to advise that they were full. Instead, a lady shouted at us before we even stepped through the door saying that they were full up. After that I don’t think I would go there even if there was availability.
Beautiful coffee, cake and food! There was a delay to my order being taken which is a shame! The staff are a wonderful and I hope the owner can learn to allow them to blossom and bloom in their job positions <3

What a wonderful afternoon. Stunning interior. Staff , especially Laura and Michelle were excellent. Had the Haddock skillet. Perhaps the best meal I have ever had. Value for money. Highly recommended
We enjoyed lunch in the garden of this lovely cafe. Food was lovely and the service was very good. The cafe and garden were decorated nicely. For lunch I had The Smokey toasted sandwich with a caramel latte. Walking down the High Street we noticed that there was another Cheese room Cafe down the road. It looked slightly bigger. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in Rochester.
As usual the Cheese Room delivered! Soooo happy that the waitress provided us with our requested table and we had the best service from Michelle who was pleasant, communicative and willing!! The Toasties were outstanding and impressive that gluten free bread is on the menu!! Both my visitors from USA & London were delighted with this little gem in Rochester!
