We recently celebrated our daughter's birthday at Escape HQ, and we had an amazing time participating in the 'Jail Break' escape room challenge! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that our group of varying ages and skill levels was comfortable and ready to have fun. The 'Jail Break' challenge was a blast. The puzzles were challenging and engaging, and our team had to work together to solve them and escape from the jail cell. The theming and decor were fantastic, and it felt like we were really in a prison trying to break out. The entire experience at Escape HQ was well-organized and exciting. The staff was always available to provide hints and guidance when we needed it, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and energy. It was the perfect way to celebrate our daughter's birthday, and we all had a great time. Overall, I would highly recommend Escape HQ to anyone looking for a unique and thrilling experience. The 'Jail Break' escape room was just one of many challenges they offer, and we can't wait to come back and try the others. Thank you, Escape HQ, for making our daughter's birthday celebration so memorable and exciting!
Enjoyed our visit and escaped Mountain Blizzard. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, facility is clean and tidy. Great that Escape HQ offers discounts through deal sites. Maybe sound effects or improve the few mechanisms when clues solved as not so obvious
What a fun experience! We booked online in advance for 3 adults and 1 child - was $135 dollars. Although it is pretty expensive it was such a fun experience and me and my siblings loved the room we did. We did Jail Break and each puzzle was very smartly thought through. We did the middle level, one above kids, and one below the intermediate level and it wasn't too hard to the point we couldn't enjoy it. We completed the level in 48 minutes - just 12 minutes before the time would have been up. The employee who helped us was friendly and offered us unlimited clues. Additional notes: No parking on site - must park in Takapuna pay to park lot. Restroom available for use on site. Sells beer, wine, and other drinks and small snack options.
Had a fantastic time here for my daughters 8th birthday party. My daughter picked the jail room however there were a couple of kids that got a bit scared a couple times so recommend maybe the other rooms for little ones if your guests get a bit nervous in slightly scary situations! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the party room and pizza with games after was also a great touch, kids played Jenga after their food and loved colouring in, a couple of the kids want to go back for their birthdays, we adults are already checking our calendars and organising babysitters so we can come back and do one ourselves :
we were treated well even after we had proven we were the dumbest pair to attempt the room. finished in 57 minutes. fun and achievable
Had our 11 year old’s birthday party here - the kids really enjoyed themselves, with the room difficulty levels set to suit their ages. Friendly staff too.
Udder Graziness was an interesting escape room, but well excuted. my group did face a huge bug in the system but jess from the auckland site understanding and offered a 25% discount for our troubles. will come back again
Just had an epic jailbreak party for my son’s 10th birthday. Highly recommend it. Luckily we made it out as our gang of boys went next level to bust out of that room. The party room we had for afterwards was really well catered for with decorations plate cutlery water and more so we were really able to enjoy ourselves. Thanks Escape HQ!
We attended for my child's 12 birthday party. The kids had a blast. The only thing I noticed was that the staff didn't seem very engaging which was a shame.
