We had our wedding here in May 2024. It was such an amazing venue. We'd been warned that it would be freezing but despite it being a cold day the room was really well warmed up by the people and 3 little heaters no one used the blankets we provided. The toilet and kitchen facilities are good and there are great sound and lighting systems. We took in all our own plates, cutlery, glassware, linen, chairs, rubbish bins etc and the event coordinator at the venue was super helpful with assisting with pack in and out. It's a very cool venue in a great location!
I loved seeing all the tivaevae designs. Some were very old and so decorative. The Cook Islanders there were informative and very friendly. Thank you all for sharing your beautiful culture.
Caught the intercity bus from here, much more pleasant than Willow St, however, public toiletsn300 m away if you know where.
Wanted to book 2 tickets, has not even allowed more than 1nOMG and same on fewer for same event…..nSame un-professional like the councilnThen no sales. ……
As a bus stop it's okay. BUT it is completely stupid as no toilet except for a 5 min walk away so chance of missing bus if really need to go. All seats are not under cover so you get wet if it's raining. Poor choice by Intercity really for visitors it is a poor man's stop
