Nice place next to a river, good stay here for around a week. Rooms were fine, TV, WiFi all fine. Bath and shower was fine. Bed was comfortable, although I had a room facing the busy road, so sleep quality was not too great due to early traffic. Breakfast was very nice and the bar area was good, if the weather was warm it would be lovely to sit by the water. All round good stay here.
Lovely venue. the staff hosted a family party for us and the waiting staff were exceptional! The food was good and they had a nice range of drinks for everyone one. What stood out was how thoughtful the staff were. Every single one of them were going to extra mile to make our gathering memorable and comfortable. If only they could control the weather as well!
I have stayed all over Poole in the last 4 months for work and I can honestly say, this is the best hotel I have stayed in by far. The rooms are lovely, perfectly clean with lovely soft towels, comfy bed and the little extras like bottled water, box of tissues, baths etc. I've stayed here twice now and all the staff have been amazing. Friendly, helpful, you actually feel like they care, take pride in the hotel & seem to enjoy working here. Which is extremely rare, believe me! The food was lovely last time I stayed although I was too late checking in this time. When I phoned to say I would be arriving after 11pm, this was no problem at all and I was made to feel just as welcome as when I arrived at 8pm last time. Sadly I found this place at the very end of my 4 months in Poole. However if I ever need to come back, this is definitely where I will be staying. Well done team bridge house!
The room was on the small side - we had a "classic double" upgraded from a "cosy double." Suitable for the one night we'd booked. Food in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic, good portion sizes and well worth the money. Staff were fantastic. We had a few minor hiccups but, they were dealt with swiftly. Very friendly and helpful.
3 stars provided for the extremely pleasant staff and good food. Rooms - I stayed in 119 which was somewhat cramped not much room to get past the bed end near the wall case of nearly broken toes if wondering at night to the toilet. The room is located at the front of the building facing the main road, this road was very busy and noisy until late with the windows open or closed, and still had cars passing throughout the early hours of the morning. If you are a light sleeper then one to possibly avoid.
Went to a retirement party for a work colleague. What a lovely hotel. The buffet was fab great prices for drinks. Staff were lovely. Sat outside too. I will be back for lunches and drinks soon.Service: 5/5
Came here for a carvery, without a doubt one of the best carverys in the area - a million times better than the Toby Carvery and better value for money. Pork, turkey and beef can be a dry and tough meats but it wasn't the case here. Cooked beautifully. We sat out on the decking to have a drink after, so peaceful! Could of sat there all day.
Only went in for Breakfast which for £10 is disappointing. As it is buffet style the black pudding was rock hard, mushrooms shrivelled up and tasteless, egg yolk dry and powdery. The service was excellent and very friendly, if it was just for the breckie it would be 0 stars.
The Bridge House is the right spot for a glass of wine. serene ambiance, it's the ideal place to unwind. The staff is professional, ensuring a delightful experience. Sip on a glass of wine, relax, and soak up the inviting atmosphere. Cheers!Service: 4/5
Pretty pub restaurant and hotel right by the river. Parking is plentiful around the back. Newly redesigned inside so nice and clean. Carvery was excellent.
