We had a meal here and ordered the special being crumbed chicken schnitzel and a glass of wine or beer for $20. It was filling and well cooked. There was many other items on the menu priced as you would expect. However the special was a great buy. There was a nice atmosphere and big screen TVs doing sports coverage of rugby, for example. Good parking around the back and good for a family.
Great service, lovely food. After several visits, will happily bring our friends and visitors to The Bridge. Always try to be accommodating, even if we have not made a reservation, on the odd occasion.
Absolutely amazing service here! Staff are super friendly the food was Absolutely delicious, Wednesday ribs are 15 a meal there cocktails are delicious. Lovely family place, or a place for friends to have some drinks and relax. Quiet on Wednesday nights.
Lovely waitress, very helpful. Great venue. Good food but tasty thai beef salad was more asian/nz. Suggest chef have a trip to thailand for real thai flavours!!! Thanks enjoyable lunch.
Well what a difference. Was last here in Jan 2021. Then the service and food was amazing. Tonight Tuesday 4 tables with guests. Service was not quick. Entrees 1 was forgotten. Mains arrived after the other tables were served and we arrived and ordered before one of them. Mains arrived chicken well cooked and dry, chips were overcooked and cold, and bacon overcooked and crunchy. $24.90 for the same thing that being honest McDonalds do better for $12.95. $17.90 for 6 prawns and a slice of toast, there are better options at other places. Very disappointed!!!! The 2 drinks were deducted for the delay.
False advertising and low quality food and staff. Massive signs out the front advertising$15 chicken schnitzel on a Thursday. The boys and myself rolled in at lunch to be told no it $20. I informed him that it's advertising says $15 to be told what sign! The massive sign on the road says it. Oh I'll have to inform the owner. Got the meal. Bland. Salad could fit on a spork. Waste of money. Good smoking area tho for beers

Have been here previously and enjoyed my meals - last night - the seafood chowder was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Couldn't finish it. However the lovely wait staff was attentive and very friendly
Terrrible Service! Average Food! Service was shocking, never got meal checked when out 6 steaks that had been ordered at the table only 1 was correct and when it came time to pay i tried to explain this and they couldnt care less... will not be returning.
Went for our 45th wedding anniversary. Our Waitress Nicole was lovely, great PR and we enjoyed her banter. Service was prompt, food was delicious, right amount and good presentation. Were happily surprised to receive a free dessert for the occasion. We will be back, next time we're in Chch.
