We LOVE Trenza! My girls have had coloured braids and natural ones for school and absolutely love them. Saves me time doing their hair on school mornings too so everyone is happy!! Trenza hairdressers are all so skilled, lovely, fun and welcoming, we love catching up with them every visit we have. I took my daughter for Double Dutch Braids before our holiday. She has the most wild mane of hair and the braids looked absolutely fantastic when done. Not only did they look amazing they also stayed in all week on holiday which saved hours of hair washing! The experience in the salon was superb and my daughter felt like a princess. I have been taking my 8 year old Daughter to Trenza for nearly 3 years for a variety of services, namely 2x birthday parties, double dutch braids with and without colour extensions and most recently tinsel added for the Christmas break! We have never been disappointed and my Daughter always loves knowing that we are heading there. Whenever we go on holiday I book her in for double dutch braids as her hair is really long and thick. They always last for a good few days even with swimming involved too. Raz has a wonderful business set up and my Daughter always walks away with a huge smile on her face. I have used Trenza a few times over the last few years and always been really impressed with the braids. Last year I booked the braiding class so I could Learn for myself, it was really good and I came away really confident to continue on my daughters hair. It’s always such a lovely experience going to get my braids done at Trenza! All the girls are so friendly and welcoming! The braids are always top quality and because I follow the at home care advice given they always last Atleast 2 weeks! Always getting compliments on my braids! The lady doing my braid was not friendly. The only thing she said to me was 'what color do you want'. The other lady was very chatty to her client so it felt awkward. I asked how to look after the braids and all I was told was not to wash it. I asked how to sleep with them and she sold me a stocking cap. I didn't know how to use it so that was useless. She was very rushed at the end as her next client has come. So when she finished my Dutch braid into low ponytail, she had to wrap hair around the hairbands to conceal them. This wasn't secure and they kept unravelling when i got home. When cutting the bottom of the pony it was not blended well so I cut it myself at home. The actually braids were very uncomfortable. I know that's normal for first few days. But the way the low ponytail sat at the base of my head meant I couldn't actually sleep without it feeling painful digging into me. I didn't not sleep without pain for 3 days. My natural hair was not hidden well so it kept sticking out of the extensions and looked quite bad. After trying to fix the unravelling bits and also cover the natural hair i just decided to take out most of the ponytail and braid it myself. Sleeping was a lot more better after that. After 4 days i just took all of the braids out as my scalp was really hurting. Unfortunately after this experience I won't be braiding my hair again. The owner is very friendly and I'm just assuming it was bad luck that day.

I would just like to say a big thank you to the trenza braid team for their excellent training program. On arrival I was greeted by their lovely owner Raz who made me feel so relaxed and welcome. The structure of the course was very well thought out and the day was very productive and educational. Even though I have some experience I still managed to come away with some new and different ways of doing things and their teams energy gave me a really positive outlook towards my future career. I’d strongly recommend anyone looking to get into this industry to connect with Raz and learn from her great knowledge and experience to put you in good stead for the future !
