The Boat House Riverhead is such a beautiful venue to photograph! The setting by the water is stunning, with amazing natural light and so many great spots for photos. The staff are friendly and easy to work with, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, perfect for weddings. Always a pleasure shooting here!
Amazing experience getting married at this venue. We were super relaxed through the whole process and everything was perfect. A beautiful setting & the food was Amazing. We had our wedding at the boat house at the Riverhead on the 2.5.25 and I have to say this is the most perfect venue and staff. I want to firstly thank Diane, Grant and their team for their hospitality and hard work. We had a fantastic day and it was so special and the team and venue was such a big part of that. They were helpful and engaging with us from the first contact all the way through, they were great in helping with rehearsals and any special requests such as having a dry wedding and served us on the day all our food which was all delicious. The biggest thank you and proof of their effort to go the extra distance was on the day of our wedding there was thunder and lightning all morning and we were holding out hoping it would stop. By 12:30pm we resided to the fact that it would be an indoor wedding which we would have been happy with as we love the indoor option too but that outdoor option was our number 1 choice. The weather started to let up and the guests started to arrive, 5 minutes before the ceremony started. Diane and her team organised our guests and helped to move all the decorations and chairs from indoor to outdoor as the sun came out just so we could have the outdoor ceremony we pictured. They took care of us greatly and we will forever be thankful for making our wedding exactly what we wanted and we will cherish it for the rest of our lives. So if you are a bride or groom to be and you are reading this trying to decide where you want to get married, it’s a big thing and nerve racking I know. I was in your position and I say if it fits the aesthetic you want choose The Boat House at The Riverhead. The team we had were amazing and look after you the way they looked after my wife and I and the venue is beautiful. Thank you again
We were guests at our nieces wedding recently. I have coeliac disease, so I'm always a little nervous when eating out. On this occasion, I was very well looked after by the team at the Boat House. This included a salad made especially for me in addition to the GF food I could eat from the buffet, and a sorbet for dessert. There were also people who were vegan and vegetarian at my table and they were also presented with food that met their dietary preferences. The care and consideration was very much appreciated, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others needing to consider dietary restrictions or allergies.
