I wish I could give more stars! The Blue Cottage is our child’s second home. It’s our village. Our child’s safe place, their comfort and where they can feel like their true self. Every morning, we are greeted with a mōrena and instant contact with at least one kaiako. We’re welcomed with questions about how our child is and how we his parents are doing too. All the staff are so easy to talk to, and the most loving, caring and beautiful humans. As two full time working parents, it is hard without any family support but The Blue Cottage team helps in ways that takes the pressure off and for that we cannot thank them enough. Any incident is reported to us instantly, the processes and policy is followed through thoroughly and the team always make sure to follow up with comms to make us feel secure in the protocols. We cannot rave about TBC enough and hope to be part of the whanau for many years to come THANK YOU again TBC team
Our son spent 18months in the Tipa Room 2-3 yr olds. Very attentive staff. We always felt listened to and we always felt that our sons' specific needs were met. Lots of opportunities were offered to go and explore outside the centre. We felt that the Kaiako knew our son and celebrated and encouraged his strengths and interests.
Our family loves The Blue Cottage. It has a familial atmosphere. All details have been considered to ensure you feel safe, welcome, and that your child’s needs are being adhered to. The activities the teachers come up with are next to none. Jo and her team are exceptional communicators and you can bet they’ll work hard to accommodate you. 10/10 would recommend.
We were blessed to spend 3.5 wonderful years at The Blue Cottage. Right from day one they treated us like family and welcomed us with open arms. They eased all my concerns and my son absolutely flourished and thrived in their care.nThe teachers were literal ANGELS and loved and cared for our baby just like we would. Millie, Lauren, Piki, Chloe and Kellie in particular made our experience with the Blue Cottage so special.nThe owners are so down to earth and go above and beyond to create a supportive community for all the BC whanau. The Mother’s Day night they would put on for us Mums each year was a big highlight!nI cried absolute buckets when our boy was leaving The Blue Cottage to start school, they gave him the most heartfelt send off and I cannot thank them enough for all of our beautiful memories.nI can’t recommend this place enough!
Blue Cottage has been incredible community to be part of. What a wonderful childcare environment with such caring staff from the front desk to those working daily with the children.nnMy son had some allergies and the team were incredibly accommodating for us in the trial and error it took to get through that stage. I so appreciated it.nnThere is nothing better for a parent than leaving with full peace of mind your child is ok. Would highly recommend!
