Our family has been with the blue cottage for almost 3 years, with two children currently attending. They adore their teachers and all of the support staff and have such happy days there. The teachers are kind and approachable, any minor issues or queries are discussed and resolved almost immediately. It’s so lovely to be part of an organisation who really value their families input.nnOur kids’ days are full of happiness, fun experiences, community trips, yummy food, fun family events and the ease of having all their needs there ready to go no packing a bag daily!!.nnI feel that the cottage’s communication has been incredible and couldn’t recommend them enough to our community. 5 stars for the Blue Cottage Papamoa!
I wish I could give more stars! The Blue Cottage is our child’s second home. It’s our village. Our child’s safe place, their comfort and where they can feel like their true self. Every morning, we are greeted with a mōrena and instant contact with at least one kaiako. We’re welcomed with questions about how our child is and how we his parents are doing too. All the staff are so easy to talk to, and the most loving, caring and beautiful humans. As two full time working parents, it is hard without any family support but The Blue Cottage team helps in ways that takes the pressure off and for that we cannot thank them enough. Any incident is reported to us instantly, the processes and policy is followed through thoroughly and the team always make sure to follow up with comms to make us feel secure in the protocols. We cannot rave about TBC enough and hope to be part of the whanau for many years to come THANK YOU again TBC team
The early childhood learning programs at The Blue Cottage are exceptional, particularly due to the personalized attention extended to my son. He consistently receives a warm and welcoming greeting from the educators each morning. We are fortunate to have such dedicated professionals. Their understanding is greatly appreciated. How the staff calmly settled the child routine without any hesitating.
Our son spent 18months in the Tipa Room 2-3 yr olds. Very attentive staff. We always felt listened to and we always felt that our sons' specific needs were met. Lots of opportunities were offered to go and explore outside the centre. We felt that the Kaiako knew our son and celebrated and encouraged his strengths and interests.
We love the team at The Blue Cottage, they are responsive and kind. Our son loves the food and it’s great the laundry is done and you never need to worry about packing lunches, bags, hats etc it’s all covered!
