Absolutely beautiful meal here tonight with my little family. We ordered the full rack of ribs, chicken burger and a kids ribs and chips. The photos don’t do the meal justice and the portion sizes are huge. I was really impressed with the quality of the meals and the size of the kids meal especially for the price, my one year old never finishes a meal and absolutely smashed this back! Will definitely be back!
Overall, great experience. Service was great, food was awesome. I had ribs and prawns that were a little over cooked but I will still be back to get that platter again! Good value for your money. The photos really don't show how big it is. Keep up the great work Food: 4/5
Popped in today for lunch and I gotta say the FnC was pretty good despite they were heavy on the batter. The fish was flakey and tasty along with the chips and egg, which I always get with FNC. Overall I was pleased with the service and food. On the down side my nephew ordered the seafood chowder, which I would normally go for. Luckily I didn’t. My nephew felt ill after a couple of spoon fulls so my uncle finished it up. Afterwards he also was hit with an upset stomach and had two trips to the toilet.
Totally recommend it! The service, greeting, the look of the plated food, taste and temp, all spot on and delicious! It was for my husband's 30th birthday dinner and I'm glad we had it there. Definitely going back soon! We preordered the grazing platters and it came out not long after we arrived and it was just so YUM! I cleaned my salmon plate for my main, the others had surf n turf n pork belly. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD! THANK YOU BLACKSMITH
I have been to The Blacksmith Takanini many times previously, but this time was on the 23rd December, 2022 for our Company Christmas lunch. Food was so delicious and plenty for what we booked for, friendly awesome staff the whole time we were there and even boxed the extra food for us to take home. Everyone from work still talks about how great their dining experience was at The Blacksmith Takanini, thanks again and Happy 2023!
First time their. Plenty of parking, yet still very busy to look for parking space. They accommodated our party request of a likely group of 10ppl, eating outside. we also had x2 dogs with us. Service was excellent & informative. She made us feel welcomed & comfortable. I really don't eat out much. Food order was a little more wait due to the large number of orders in groups at peek time. 1830-1930pm Food selection was plenty. And when food arrived, it looked wonderful, plenty & delicious. No complaints from our party. Would DEFINITELY come eat, meet, coffee here again. Kid-friendliness: Yes we had kids with us. Not an issue. Wheelchair accessibility: It looked accessible. Been flat surface area. Open spaces inside, outdoor tables, they accommodated us outside. toilets on groundlevel... may have issues their, yet wasn't paying attention.
Last minute decision to go for dinner last night So no Reservation made. Waiter was very friendly and lovely making a plan for us,seat was great, lovely tucked away which I will ask for when we go again. We were seated at table 125 Food was great staff was great Great night out. Thank you
Birthday dinner at Blacksmith. Pre-ordered our food. Waiting time was 10-15mins for 6 adults. Food was delicious. Service was awesome. Thank you for an awesome evening.Food: 4/5
The Blacksmiths is always the same vibe, clean establishment, welcoming, service is good and food is always full of flavor. The ambience is great, lots of sun shines through during the day or it gives a nice intimate feel during the night. Great for all types of functions such as birthdays, work gatherings & date nights. I enjoy most of their menu however it has changed a lot over the last two years and doesn't have a wide range like they used to for example their menu has been extremely cut back. Their desert specials of the week was a real hit, their french doughnuts with chocolate sauce and salted caramel Desert was a hit too. The prices have risen a fair bit too but I guess that is expected. Otherwise it's still a lovely place to eat due to the quality and quantity of the meals. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly Parking: Shopping center parking area Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility on the ground floor
This is one of those pleasantly surprising places. When you first enter, it feels more like a bar than an eatery, but once you get your food, you realize it is actually an amazing restaurant. They have proper meals and their food is delicious. The portions are generous and tasty. I haven't ever been to the upstairs part, and maybe it feels more "restauranty." However, having said that, I love the atmosphere of this place. I suggest the creamy chicken and bacon Fettuccine and, of course, the ribs, they are both delicious. I highly recommend trying out this amazing place. You might just find your next favourite place to eat.
