If you have curly hair, then you need to treat yourself by having Joy do your hair. I have never been so overwhelming happy when I left a salon. She truly knows how to cut and style curly hair. Joy is also hilarious and down to earth. Other stylist might be great, but can they cut curly hair like you see on Instagram? The salon has a great vibe. It's clean and organized. It was nice not having harsh lighting or loud music. Definitely plan on returning and referring others.
I have been going to Serena for 10 years!! When I first moved to the area, I struggled to find someone who could do my hair the way I liked. I found Serena on my 30th birthday and I just celebrated my 40th! She is amazing. She knows her stuff and consistently gives me beautiful hair. Wonderful place! First off it's so cute and inviting,you can see all the hard work in the details but more do all the people who work there are friendly and helpful. I had Meagan and she was so nice and patient with my long thick hair. Plus everything is eco friendly! Will be coming back
This salon is very unique but also very difficult to get an appointments at. I have also had the stylist cancel my appointment with them last minute that I have had booked for 3 months out and put zero effort in to get it rescheduled. I like that their products are eco-friendly and better for your hair, but with no way to get ahold of the stylist and their booking system being so picky to be able to get set up with someone, i would not recommend this place for future clients. **Reply: There are no stylist emails listed on your website, I have double checked. When my appointment was cancelled 3 hours before the time of my appointment the stylist did not reach out to me, an automated text message did to which when i tried to rebook there was nothing available for another 2 months. Very unpersonal, this alones show you don't give "100% to our clients." . If i had to cancel on my client who booked 3 months out i would have personally called them and did everything I could to get them in as soon as possible. Joy did an amazing job w/ my hair! The previous colors had faded and I had major root grow-out. At the consultation appointment, we discussed what I wanted to do w/ the color and she clearly laid out the options and expectations. She worked w/in my budget and schedule, and her personality is off the charts!
Love the Beauty Factory! Mostly because my stylist, Stacia is amazing. But, the overall salon vibe is nice too. It's cool, and muted, a very relaxing place to spend a couple of hours. There are lots of plants, and great stuff to browse in their shop as well. Now, they are super strict in adherence to their chill aesthetic so no noisy phones, and if you laugh too loudly you might get a look- But, you gotta respect the commitment to the vibe. For me the most important aspect of any salon experience is how my hair looks when I leave. And it's always amazing. So I would definitely recommend.
