Excellent coffee and I enjoyed the intelligent and witty conversation with the lady who served me. Nice way to spend some time before catching the ferry.
I really enjoyed my coffee and scone. Both were yummy and Penelope was really nice to talk with. It made the time waiting for the ferry much more enjoyable.
Absolutely horrible person. This lady has had myself and my children bend over backwards for her day after day for 3 years. The kids and I traveled all over the top of the south island to work/run this coffee cart and yet none of the 3 of us ever received a cent to have done this for her. She always spoke of us getting shares in the business so we went along and done everything for free as there was hope something would come from it. However as time went on and she was questioned over payment or shares she all.of a sudden stole another food caravan I've built for her and I and then progressed on with a huge amount of lies and I now have no shares or know where the food truck I built is. Watch this woman, I assure you definitely do not work or assist her in work as she will not stick to any word she said to you on payments etc. Id also advise as many people as you know not to purchase coffee from her as she should not even be in the business anymore as you can not treat staff as she has done with my kids and i

Being from Melbourne, I'm fussy about coffee but the Bean Queen didn't disappoint! Fantastic coffee, great banter and some helpful tips about the local area.
Must have been a bad day for the lady serving as she really tried her hardest to be as rude as possible. Probably the only thing decent about the experience was the coffee.
