Nice cafe with absolutely beautiful sweet treats - the perfect stop if you want something a little more elegant than the usual cafe fare! Be aware that they can be very busy, especially during the morning, so plan your visit accordingly.  Their "Savor the South" menu is available in April 2022 until 2pm each day. For $23, it includes: - Beetroot cured salmon - Confit fingerling potatoes - Poached egg with a fennel emulsion - Hazelnut & flaxseed praline

Gluten free scones. Really that’s all you need to know! But apart from that, great breakfast, decent coffee, and they source local when able. Major props to handling a busy cafe of tourists and locals alike

Highly recommended!! There’re various options. We had cinnamon roll, brownie, eggs benedict with bacon, milkshake and coffee. It was awesome!!

This team is amazing! I’ve never had the chance to actually go to the cafe, but I can say that their menu is our friend’s delight in Invercargill and I am really looking forward to try it some day. Donna has been helping me since 2021 to deliver a gift card to a really good friend living there every year. She’s always been super attentive to detail, kind and lovely… I cannot thank enough!!!

We went to the Batch on a very busy lunchtime but by the time we got to the front of the queue to order there were tables free. The staff were super friendly and the food good. My 6 year old was super happy with his pancakes. I would come here again.

Incredible food.. Worth a visit for sure I kept having to go back to eat more   Seafood chowder.. Delicious and amazing bread  Brownie... Maybe the best most gooey bunch of tastieness I ever had  Orange and rhubarb cake. Also amazing  Vegetarian scone   Go there you won't regret

I came to this place on the recommendation of two workmates and I definitely wasn’t disappointed — fantastic food, great service and the coffee was truly excellent. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area! Their cheese rolls are a superb taste of the south, so delicious

I had the blue cod buttie and it was hands down the best meal I had in NZ. My partner had the Vietnamese pancake....Yum Yum. The cafe was clean and very pleasant and the girls which served us were very attentive, professional and funny. Will definitely go back on our return to NZ.
