Went on a Wednesday steak night $25 with partner.nSirloin steak chips and an egg, served promptly good sized steak with mushroom sauce and a big plate of very nice chips and egg with a nice young fella serving us. It’s a pub meal not a fancy restaurant but place was clean and tidy, so very happy overall.
Great spot to have a cold beverage on a nice day!nOutdoor area is mint.nHeineken on tap which is always a plus for me.nGot the seafood basket, was a bit of a basic deep fried meal to share but still nice
The surf n turf steak was delicious. Great atmosphere. Looks like a really popular place, so many people! Friendly and welcoming service at the bar and in restaurant.
Worst dining experience in ages.nArrived on a Tuesday evening for dinner after checking opening hours, reviews, and menu. All looked good.nBut when we arrived we were informed the menu was only available Wed-Sat. There was a very limited bar snacks and pizzas. . This wasn't obvious on the online info.nWe decided to stay because of timing.nBig mistake. The pizzas were clearly pre-prepared and only two choices with slight variation on the chicken one.nThey were undercooked, not hot, and devoid of flavour. And way overpriced at $27! The wedges were underwhelming anf the included ham cold.nOverall a dining disaster.nAvoid!
Have passed by this place many times over the years and finally went in for a drink and some food. Greeted by friendly staff and soon had drinks in hand as well as a menu. Plenty of seating inside and out. Nice big open outdoor area with a stage for live bands and a bouncy castle for kids, which has seen better days. The food at our table was great! Very tasty indeed. Will come back again sometime.
