It doesn't look like much from the front but it makes up for it with good staff and menu. A great big garden bar to sit in the warm summer shade listening to the Sunday afternoon band. Come along and have a look for yourself, 4 Shades of Kiwi were playing today and they were great.
Where the steak is always under cooked and the house music is crapnunless you like hip hop/rapnWell done is what was order everytime medium rear is what is served each time.nChef needs a couple classes in how to cook something as simple as a steak.
One star as the young woman serving was really lovely.nWent in expecting a dinner menu as advertised on their website and the other reviews below made the place look amazing. Had only bar snacks available which was disappointing but fine. Unfortunately their 'chef' soaked the food oil and threw in an air fryer or something not cooking all the way through so the food was soggy. The other patrons near us left most of their food also. Avoid.
Quite busy on Sunday but not to bad.nFood was quite good.nThere was a good band on at 2pm and just for the record I was stone cold sober.nBetter than many pub bands I've seen.nNice big carpark next door and a back gate to go in.nIts a pretty good set up.
We had our work break up here last friday, We only had ordered fries, they were still yummy.nnThe atmosphere was outstanding, first time I have ever been here. But I would ao come back for an occasion :nnIt's child friendly, the menu was amazing I would definitely recommend dinner here sometime with my little family. nnThanks Backyard Gastropub.
