Good, friendly, NZ country pub. Fish Burger and drink for lunch in the garden area well away from the road where it was nice and quiet. Definitely come back again. There is also a large indoor dining area away from loud music if the weather is rough.Food: 5/5
Stopped here on Sunday arvo on the way to Auckland for a drink. We were pleasantly surprised by the big beer garden and live entertainment. Great afternoon enjoying the sun and music. Food is typical of any pub.Food: 3/5
Have passed by this place many times over the years and finally went in for a drink and some food. Greeted by friendly staff and soon had drinks in hand as well as a menu. Plenty of seating inside and out. Nice big open outdoor area with a stage for live bands and a bouncy castle for kids, which has seen better days. The food at our table was great! Very tasty indeed. Will come back again sometime.

We were too late for lunch at the Café across the road. But our 2nd choice was great! Most helpful staff, made us olds comfortable with right seating sone windows & doors shut then the delicious food arrived, mine was Israeli couscous & falafel salad with a huge grilled mushroom on top, others had mixed seafood platters with delicious chips. We were thrilled. Thanks folks. Vegetarian options: I think the Israeli falafel salad was the only vegetarian/vegan option, delicious & plentiful, very nicely presented too
Rib's were coldhence only 3 stars for food, they probably reheated in an air fryer. Chips good. Garlic cheese bread is a winner!!

So for 18 dollers you get 6 chicken wings with next to no meat and a kilo of lettuce under it. The chickens covered in red food coloring. Don't order food from hear what a joke. Chef offers me to cook something else I said no way
