Story

The Apple Basket business was started in September 1998 in Kaiwaka, Northland, New Zealand. Ngaire has been designing her own patterns which have been selling extremely well.

Her main aim is to be able to design more and sell to the patchwork world. "My patterns started with a sewing bag which I taught in a class, and so many people wanted them that I turned it into a pattern to sell and I haven't stopped since then."

A must, to stop here.Awesome little shop,packed with all your sewing needs.Wonderful displays and plenty of unique sewing haberdashery items. They specialize in weekly classes of all manners,friendly staff. Pfaff machines and baby lock over lockers here.
So happy I made the effort to stop off on the way through! Such a delightful little shop, with an amazing range of beautiful quilt fabrics, wool felt, knitting yarns and supplies, embroidery threads and patterns. Definitely worth a stop if you are driving by and into crafting at all.
