Stunning spot to hook into some quality fish and chips. Batter was crisp, fish fresh AF. Was craving homemade onion rings, sadly not to be this time. Service super friendly, fast to fry. Worth going for a wander up the shoreline to eat. Seagulls surprisingly not too aggressive? Highly recommend.
This is a pretty good fish and chip shop. The elephant fish was very good, the batter was crispy and flavourful whilst also not being too oily. The squid curls were fantastic I highly recommend everyone to grab half a dozen of these. The only problem I have with this place are that the chips aren’t very good, they were cooked well but they had almost no taste to them, very little seasoning and looked like they were store bought. If you’re gonna get a scoop of chips I suggest getting a pottle of gravy to go along with it.
Ultra friendly service i highly reccomend them. Great batter on the fish. My first fish and chips got sacrificed by seagulls but they were kind enough to make me another one even though it was not there fault. DONT FEED THE BIRDS. Great place and ultra friendly staff!Food: 5/5
Can’t say they’re the best fish and chips ever, but just how fish and chips should be. Crunchy kumura fries done excellently, great crust on the elephant fish with plenty of succulent fish in the centre too, bet the blue cod in my opinion. The meal salad was great for someone who wants a bit of vege on the side of a thick carb meal, but the grilled fish I reckon should be skipped but dry but defs feels healthy. Seafood chowder is a definite, super yum, thick chonky chowder. Done excellently. Overall great service neat eat.
I ordered fish of day, the fish is good and I enjoyed food with harbor views so much,however I have no idea why the staff is impatient. maybe I am Asian people and didn’t say the words correctly? Felt uncomfortable. Parking: There are some parking lots , some of them are free and some not.
Great food! Ordered the bluecod and swapped out the regular chips for seasoned wedges instead based on a tip by someone here. Added a seafood chowder too. Bluecod - flaky and fresh. Seasoned Wedges - plump and well seasoned. Seafood chowder - heavy on white onions, and chock-full of seafood like mussels. Service on the other hand, was a little slow, not sure if it's because they had to prepare the food from scratch. But the wait is worth it for the food! Atmosphere - try sitting outside and catch the sunset while you eat. Great views.

How can you miss this Bulldog sculpture in blue gernsey with white stars, and red and white stripes shorts sitting on a low wall? Hang on a minute; this bulldog is NOT an Aussie Australian or Kiwi Ne Zealander. It is a Yankee American, because the Star and Stripes are the design of the American flag. Be alert, not alarm! The Yanks are coming! The shop is really busy, and customers queue up for their orders. The fish and chips has an option to serve with normal potato chips and kumera sweet potato chips. The fish pieces are not very big, and in short, it is expensive.
Good fish and chip shop that caters well for gluten-free customers. The grilled non-battered fish option for my wife came in a container with some salad as an added bonus, and the younger bloke asked if I also wanted our chips to be fried in their gluten-free frier.Food: 4/5

Average fish and chips. Tartar sauce is not good. Super sweet relish tasting sauce vs traditional tarter sauce. Maybe a bad batch. At least they don’t skip on the tomato sauce. You can dip one chip in it.
