Food was really tasty! Really good value for money, staff friendly and really helpful. Was really clean inside, and service was quick. The app to order through was really well designed, and very simple to use. Will definitely be returning as everything was delicious and the staff were fab. :
Absolute car crash. Handful of people in pub/garden. No fish or chicken skewers available. Not allowed to eat outside due to lack of staff. Only disabled toilet available to use... again due to lack of staff. Seriously they would have been better off shutting!! How can you even call it a pub restaurant when half the foods not available, lack of toilet facilities, not enough staff. Appalling customer service.
Lovely, welcomed straight away and smells lovely, had a perfectly cooked 8oz 28 day matured Medium steak. Definitely recommended, Leighaa waiter was very kind and enjoyable
Appalling lack of customer service. Booked a table online. There was clearly an issue as I heard the server ask the manager three times, ‘what do you want me to tell them?’. She disappeared for five minutes or so before coming back and telling us that the system shouldn’t have let us book online on the day and that the only table we could have was in the bar area, tucked around a corner on high stools. We asked if we could move to one of the many empty tables, with lower chairs and the answer was, no. Many of those tables remained unoccupied for the entirety of our meal. Note to staff-don’t talk about customers when they are in earshot, don’t blame the system and try to make customers feel that they are in the wrong, if there is a problem apologise and do all that you are able to, to rectify the issue. The food was OK but the whole place needs some TLC - sticky tables, menus stuck together they wipe clean, toilets in a disgusting state mould growing all over, tap not anchored to sink, toilet seats barely attached. I could go on but suffice to say, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Went in for lunch on 20/01/23. Didn't have to wait too long for food. Food was really tasty, my mum loved the macaroni cheese. And brother was happy to discover they did peroni in 2 pints. Manager Daniel was friendly and chatty
Went for a meal with the family for my birthday. Arrived for our 6 o'clock booking and placed our order via app. There were about 3 starters unavailable, so we chose the sharer, only to be told 2 of the items were missing and we couldn't replace them with something else, so we could pick another starter or have as was, we went as was, as there wasn't much choice of what was left. All was fine, but when we'd finished our starter, we then sat waiting for 40 mins until we finally asked about our mains and was told, a little snappily 'there is a 30 minute wait on food!' We explained we ordered at everythingat 6.10pm and it was now 7.20 pm. We did get our mains about 10 minutes later and the food was fine but the overall experience and service really put a dampener on our evening out. Very unimpressed and disappointed
Always enjoy here. The food is great, served promptly and reasonably priced. Polite and friendly staff - The Fish Supper is highly recommended
Nice for a quick meal and catch up with family. This place is dog friendly as well. Been there a few times now and the service is good. Would definitely recommend.
Food was very nice and promptly served, but the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars was because several items were missing from the menu
