Ordered a chicken Penang curry. It was more like a watered down red curry with very little taste. It didn’t seem to have much curry paste in it either. Rolly Thai does a way better more traditional version. Not impressed sorry.

Absolutely amazing all round. The food was incredible and came out in a timely manner. The restaurant is lovely and modern with great seating. Our waiter was very lovely and had great knowledge on the dishes. We will definitely be coming here again.Food: 5/5
Delicious food, we both ordered hot pad Thai with extra satay and beers. Not very spicy but still tasty. Generous serving, the satay sauce was what were after. Roti didn't seem authentic but was buttery and flakey and would order again. Service was exceptional and attentive. Seating was standard but clean and cosy.Food: 5/5
We ordered 3 Beef Pad C Yew's and 1 Honey BBQ Pork Fried Rice for delivery. SERVICE: After placing my order through their website, I was aware that there would be a 45 minute wait. Around the time we expected our delivery, a friendly and well mannered lady named Sophie called to apologize and explained that the restaurant was really busy and that there would be a 20 minute wait. I understood and appreciated them calling to let me know. Thai Terrace, please continue to let your customers know when their delivery orders will be delivered later than expected. I think that you'll find most customers will understand and appreciate you for this, although there will be those who may be annoyed. Its just better to know what's happening than a customer wondering "where's my food". FOOD: Good portion sizes, good amount of meat and vegetables and cooked nicely. Myself and my family had mixed opinions on the taste of the food. Some of us liked our meal and some of us thought the food was bland.
I seldom give 5 stars, so this place is worth a try. Had $17 lunch set - sping rolls x2, curry and also lemon lime bitters. Good value for money and food was very good. Vegetarian options: Has vege options
I've been feeling awful all day. Allergies gone wild. I just wanted some soup to make me feel better and there's not a lot of options for soup in rolleston. I ordered from Thai Terrace for the first time because they sell soup, and my partner picked it up for me. And it's the BEST decision I could have made. I feel so much better! I got the chicken tom yum soup and rice noodles. It burned the yuck feeling on my throat and brought down the swelling. My head is clear, I can talk, breath, I feel so much better!!!!! Big chunks of tomato and mushroom and spicey yummy broth. This might be my new favorite place.
This Thai takeaway/restaurant is tucked away in a corner, right next to Domino's Pizza. New World supermarket is in the vicinity as well. I've ordered mild beef Pad See Ew on their menu as Pad C Yew at $17.10 on 2 occasions so far. On the 1st occasion it was really flavourful - which encouraged me to want to return the 2nd time. On my 2nd visit it was still nice, but quite bland tasting. I think I'll give them one more try, but plan to change my order to a medium beef Pad See Ew to see if this makes a difference for me. I would recommend taking a shopping bag in to collect your takeaways. The 1st time I went in, I'd forgotten to take one and then had to do a hot potato exchange between hands on my way back to my car. On my 2nd visit the meal got put straight into a paper bag and I didn't realise until I got home that they'd charged 20 cents extra for it. I was annoyed with myself because I've got a boot full of bags that I complain about taking up space virtually every time I open the boot lol. The service was fast and friendly both times with a walk in order and a phone order. There is good parking in the vicinity but it gets quite manic finding/waiting for a park at times. I've yet to check out visiting Rolly Thai to make a comparison but this place is still well worth a visit going by my 1st visit. Will be back soon.
Ordered a meal with no coriander as highly allergic, food came with coriander in it - rang store and got accused of lying that there was coriander in the dish. Women on phone was very accusational and did not want to take responsibility. Very disappointed with food and service.Food: 1/5
Omg stop!!! First of all, the food is AMAZING, and secondly the staff?? Out of this world!! I’m a regular with Thai terrace on DoorDash LOL and every single time without fail I have a great experience, such good value for your money. Tonight I was feeling a lil snacky after cooking dinner as you do so I ordered some churros, and asked for them to be cooked super crispy with extra sugar n cinnamon or whatever goodness they put on it, and they went out of their way! The photo speaks for itself! Allison and Neave, you two are blessings, doin gods work girls. Will be back again n again xxx
