My boyfriend and I left the house with the idea of ​​having dinner in a nice place and looking for this place, we arrived at Battle. A few old pubs to visit but not to my taste, so I googled where the best curry is made in the area. And I came across this beautiful hidden but enchanting place. A warm welcome from them, the order was very quick and delicious. The only negative point for me is that the portions are small and you go hungry. Otherwise nothing to object.
Great quality food, very tasty. Good sized portions, well packaged and friendly service. We had red curry and the flavours took me straight back to Thailand. Delicious!
Been to eat here several times now and they have never disappointed! Tried every single one of their dishes on the menu and they've always been delicious but then, I don't expect otherwise. Staff are super friendly and even stop to get to know you when they're not rushed off their feet including the owners!. For a place that's usually so busy, it's impressive that they keep up their standards! The atmosphere is comforting despite being so busy too. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy night out with amazing food and a lovely chat :
So pleased to have discovered Thai Orchid having moved to Battle last year. Deliveries and eating in always produce the highest quality and we've never had a bad meal. The staff are so friendly and always accommodate us. To the extent on one occasion the crackers were missed on a delivery, only for them to appear 5 minutes later when they realised without us saying anything and came all the way back to drop off!
We recently had dinner here whilst in Battle and can’t rate the food and service enough. Authentic Thai dishes and the outdoor seating is very cute! Owners are also very lovely
Overall good. Staff are lovely , food was good. However we were seated towards the back on the ground floor and you have staff constantly marching past getting in and out of the kitchen and doorbell going off constantly!
We had a terrific meal here in June '22. If you like quality authentic Thai food this restaurant is a must! The staff are very friendly and efficient and the food...... fantastic. If anyone reads this review and is in doubt just book a table and go find out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
Food is amazing here, best Pad Thai! Garden is beautiful, a real sun trap! Staff are so lovely, Tim is lovely to talk to! Highly recommended! We will be back!
Excellent authentic Thai food, lovely restaurant, great service
I have been going to the Thai Orchid restaurant in Battle ever since it opened and I have to say it is an absolute must. The food is authentic and delicious. But I must take the time to also say how lovely and welcoming all of the staff are upon every single visit. The owners are fantastic. I have spent a long time speaking to the owner’s husband who does a lot of the table waiting and deliveries. He is a very kind, friendly and humble person. They work extremely hard to do well for the business and let me tell you, this certainly pays off. They clearly treat their staff well and this is noticeable by how lovely and enthusiastic they all are. I really don’t have a bad word to say about this restaurant and couldn’t recommend it more.
