Thai lemongrass have a great range in their menu and the food and service is great. We prefer to order for takeaway personally as as good is the food is, the restaurant space itself is small if you're in a group of more than 3 or 4. It could do with a bit of a freshen up, which would definitely add some ambience. That said, the dining room is clean, service is prompt and friendly, food is served quickly and is definitely delicious. They also offer a very affordable lunch menu

Not sure what all the good reviews are about!? Maybe we lucked out tonight... Vegetables in the soup we're undercooked, nearly raw, prawn spring rolls that were meant to be wrapped in rice paper weren't, instead they were just supermarket ones. over priced entrees, tiny amount of food. Wont be going back
When we arrived this place was empty which was a surprise later when we ate the food. I had the spicy noodles which were great. The portion was a good size: not too small but not too big. The service was excellent. It's definitely not a budget meal but it will not break the bank either.
We love Thai food, so being visitors to Waihi we googled a Thai Restaurant and so pleased we found Thai Lemongrass open on a Monday night, we had 1 x mxd entree, 1x sweet n sour pork, 1x green chicken curry an 3 glasses wine, everything was soooo delicious we will definitely go back next time in Waihi township, also had great conversation with some local influential other customers...thanks Waihi Thai Lemongrass...bon appetit
If ever you're in Waihi & Thai cuisine is your jam? Come here! Honestly, food will not disappoint you at all - so amazingly tasty & delicious!! I had the Mee Goreng & my partner had a chicken hotplate with oyster sauce & veges . . . Omg, was soooo tasty! I hear the Pad Thai is a common 'go to' & ontop of that; friendly service with a smile!

Delicious, fresh, authentic Thai food. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the sauce was immaculate. Did not have to wait long for the beautiful, bright banquet of our orders to arrive, which was accompanied with tentative staff who offered a complimentary top up of rice if we needed more. It must also be mentioned that the staff provided exceptional service.
Poor quality and pricey.. not how a good quality Thai meal meant to taste like. Not recommended at all.Food: 1/5
