Came here a few weeks ago while passing through Antwerp on a road trip. The food was amazing! I’m used to a very high standard of Thai food back in the U.K. or from holidays in Thailand and this place exceeded that in many ways. The place is family run and so much attention to detail was taken while we were there. The staff were extremely friendly and want to make sure all customers are happy with the food and experience. Really like how they had drinks exported from Thailand and the outdoor area was really nice.
Kai Thai is a small but cozy restaurant with a great variety of delicious Thai dishes. It was our first time visiting this place but I will definitely go back there to try out more things from the menu since we truly enjoyed the experience. The food was outstanding and nicely presented, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Overall, it's simply worth a visit.
My favourite dishes are: Tom Ka Kai, Somtam and Green curry. They are so tasty! The building is gorgeous which you don't see such good Thai food is hidden inside! I have been to Thailand many times, so I can tell you, if you miss real good Thai food, you can get it here.

Very tasty, beautiful and traditional Thai dishes the way they should be cooked and served! Obvious quality ingredients and freshly cooked. Had also an unique and regional street food inspired Thai dessert, not served anywhere else in Antwerp and beyond. Lovely team and an inspiring chef, a hidden gem to discover!
Rice was excellent. shrimps and coconut sauce were good. The proportion of rice is very small and the shrimps will cost you €6 a piece. Also not too generous with the sauce. If you are not on a diet and a bit hungry definitely skip this restaurant. It is very expensive considering the little portion you get.

Incredibly good thai food. One of the best pad thai I’ve eaten since I came back from Thailand. Portions are big, so if you’re hungry and crave thai food, that’s the place to go! Plus: they have veggie options! They do take away which I did. They made it quite quickly and the food was super warm when I got it. They are open until quite late, I ordered past 9:00pm. The place is really cute too if you wish to eat in. & The two women there were really kind. I recommend!
