Food was delicious and the service was quick and organised. The staff were helpful and friendly. The satay tofu was really filling and the sauce what the perfect heat and viscosity. Not to thick or too runny...Would highly recommend for authentic Thai taste. 10 out of 10 from me.
Picked up some takeaways from here last night.nFresh spring rolls, a chicken stirfry, peanut sauce and vegetables and a pork Thai laksa.nThe spring rolls were quite good, with lots of filling, the stirfry was adequate though no real discernible special flavours at all. The laksa was awful. There was little taste and certainly hadn’t been made with laksa paste. The pork that had been used with it was thin and dry and not much of it. Bean shoots, fish balls….nope, broccoli and carrot. Yuk! The noodles however were the very worst part. It was a thick overcooked block of noodles, which looked like fettuccine, that were just sitting on topof it all. Most of it got tipped out. You need to do a lot better than this.
I’d heard really good things about this place but unfortunately all in all I’m rather disappointed.nI do have to say I was impressed by how quickly the food was ready and the prices really are decent!nUnfortunately, the paper bag they put our food in didn’t even last 5mins walk. Our two containers crashed through the bottom of the bag and could have broken and lost us some of our food. Luckily we only lost quite a bit of sauce from one dish.nWhen we got home I noticed that they’d given us a wrong dish we ordered two dishes. This ultimately also meant we’d payed too much.nI had a Pad Thai and was also really disappointed in the taste. My father really liked his dish though.nI think if people ordering food from here just check their received dishes at the container to make sure they were given the right dish and ask for double bagging, they’ll have a better experience than I had.
Hi there team,nnBeen a local for about two years and a semi regular customer just recently dined tonight which was reasonable.nnhowever, last week was a disappointment i went down with my partner and a friend to grab some takeout and paid Approx $19 for two pieces of chicken in the Thai green green curry for my partner, we spent about $50-$60 and feel like it wasn't quite up to scratch for that money.nnthis is no detraction from the friendly nature of the staff and prompt preparation of food however, still highlights of the Thai container.nnI really love to support local business myself but am somewhat disheartened by the recent experiences, note being that we do appreciate the Thai container as someone that caters to dietary requirements.
So glad we took the recommendation ordered Bangkok Noodles and Lemongrass chicken, decent amount of protein, perfectly flavoured. The dishes are on the sweeter side which probably would be better if they are a bit less sweet. Overall really happy and would return.
