Our tofu green curry taste real good, nice deco and vibes, just the table we were assigned is lack of lighting. Only shame of the dishes would be the coconut rice doesn't seem nicely cooked, too much moist and taste overly sweet. So would definitely NOT recommend having coconut rice with the curry cooked with coconut milk, it just ruined the superb flavour of the curry itself. Also won't recommending the entrée "No moon tonight" prawn cracker that the flour is too hard to chew, and too less amount of prawn. The boss I assumed is generally putting a smiles on in every moments, good service staff as well. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan friendly, remember to remind the staff no fish/oyster sauce as well if you don't take them
I loved my appetizer more than the main. The coconut sauce with the rotti was a fave. The rice rolls were delish as well. No photos unfortunately as I demolished them immediately. The suicide bomber in the photo is nice. Could do with more vege. You need to eat it quick as the bowl gets soggy and the chicken goes chewy. Mocktail was okay
Service was friendly and professional. The dishes were flavorsome and so nicely presented. We had the duck salad and a beef and ginger curry. The serving size was perfect for us. Pricing was very reasonable with plenty of dishes available at under $25. We will be returning.
Really disappointing experience. Tried to book in the day but email bounced so was unable to make a reservation for a Sunday. Would have called to book but they were closed in the day. The times say they are open till 9pm so watched the sunset and arrived for dinner at 8pm and that’s when the problems began. We were instantly met with a reluctance to be seated and told we had to order within 5 minutes and could only order mains. They kept coming over telling us we only had minutes to order even though we were trying to read the menu and were rushed into picking dishes and drinks as the waitress was hovering at the table. When the food came out it was pretty average and there were no chopsticks and sloppy presentation, could tell it had been cooked and dumped on a plate. Once finished and the plates cleared, at 8:50 before even finishing our drinks we were told to leave the restaurant even though there were other tables still there. We appreciate they close at 9pm but have never been in a situation where a customer has been rushed to finished their meals or drinks before closing. After the absolute whirlwind it left us feeling we hadn’t even been out for dinner. Most definitely will not be returning or recommending any Thai chefs to anyone again.
If you're looking for generic Thai, this place is for you. Not bad, but not exceptional either. The Pad Thai was very sweet, and probably the best food we had was the Pad see ew named C U Later Noodles in the menu. Nothing was labeled for vegans either.
Service was terrible!! Waited 20 minutes before waitress came to take our drinks order. While we were eating 14 chairs were sprayed down and wiped! Result was people were gasping for breath. Will not be back, sad because we previously had good service. PS. The food was delicious.
Service was slow, definitely understaffed. Tom Kha was tasty and perfectly spicy but my pad thai had no heat at all and was overly sweet for my liking. No vegan options explicitly offered on the menu, a bit disappointing as Thai food tends to be relatively easy to make vegan especially the curries, which might be vegan already.
Turns out Google reviewers do know what they are talking about! Chose this place based on the reviews and it was incredible. Every dish absolutely delicious. Glad we ordered more than we could eat because it was even better the next day. Decor was a little tired but that was soon forgotten when you tasted the food. Will be coming here again first chance we can.
Warning for all people gluten intolerant, the GF on the menu should actually be GFA, as if you don't tell them to make it gluten free it DOES contain gluten. Overall a very poor experience and would not recommend this restaurant: 1. Spring rolls were terrible - no Thai herb and rice paper not cooked 2. Meals were padded out with a lot of lettuce - worst of all the vegetable tempura even included battered lettuce!!! 4. Pad Thai was not gluten free nor was it tamarind sauce and was poor quality. 3. Rice was charged for 3.5nzd and the coconut rice was more like rice pudding. Waitresses were lovely though and the saving grace of the hugely disappointing evening.
Beautiful and flavourful food. All dishes came reasonably quick and very generous portion. Service was ok one lady seems like she doesn’t want to be there
