Food was substandard at best.nBrisket was dry and did not meet expectations.nWhen placing a $300 order and asking for an additional $1 for extra aoali, very poor form!nSorry, I cannot in good conscience recommend this place.nnUpdate: emailed as requested with receipt and all details and there is no update.nI guess dissatisfied customers are not so important.
Delicious and authentic Texas bbq this is coming from a U.S. American. The brisket and ribs have great smoke and spice rubs and are cooked to perfect tenderness. Friendly staff as well! If you want to dine-in which I’d recommend just check which days you go because some days it’s just the cart open and no seating.
Visited at 7:00 and had a few people already there, ordered the 5 meat platter, for two people to try a range of food, yummy food overall the beef brisket was dry but had good flavour, chips were pretty good, and the ribs were amazing, would definitely go again but would order from the sides menu
I wasn't sure where to put this review because I got my order from the food truck, I'd heard good things about this place before the franchising I was looking forward to having a good local BBQ spot. But unfortunately it didn't meet expectations, the brisket was dry and lacked flavour, it was also served to me barely warm leaning onto cold. The st Louis ribs were ok, better then the brisket but they also came out barely warm with it being Texas style BBQ I was hoping it would have been heavily coated in a salt pepper rub it barely had anything on it the buns I was given were going stale which was unfortunate, I was really hoping this place would be good. I can't see myself returning.
Amazing! Tried a dirty double smashed burger and it was tasty, succulent and everything you want in a smash burger. I’d definitely try the triple smash burger next time. Bun was soft and buttery. Pattie’s we’re cooked to perfection, slightly fatty and well seasoned. The fries were crisp and exactly how you want your fries. Service was also top notch. Well done! Wish it was closer but will definitely be making the drive from Auckland again soon. Can’t recommend enough.
