They changed the menu board and I hadn't been in for at least 2 years so was lost ordering. Couldnt hear a word the server said. THIS is what you get for $21.38. Horrifying expensive. I paid extra for the coleslaw, which must've come to about $4 for three tablespoons of coleslaw. And where's the fries? Good question. I checked at home and there is supposed to be fries in the combo. So they ripped me off again. Meal was average. Drink is baby sized. Burger was small. Neither was Texas sized. Wished I'd gone to KFC. Did they change ownership? It used to be good when it opened. I won't be returning and neither should you.
Having just been in the Philippines and eating delicious Jollibee chicken and delicious Shakey's chicken and the fact I've had Texas chicken many times before in NZ it's hard to understand how I can be served raw chicken. I would have thought the cooking of the chicken would have been timed to be perfect. The photo is of the chicken that replaced a much rawer piece that I didn't get a photo of before getting it replaced. The staff were friendly enough about it but it still astounded me that this could happen in the first place. I will most likely reluctantly try the chicken again as the fries here are great but I would imagine it will be some time before I bother going back. This was the Manukau branch in the mall and I've always had great chicken before this instance.
Amazing Texas Chicken Chain located in Westfield Manukau! They have tasty chicken which seems to taste a lot fresher at this specific chain. Staff were friendly ish. Free refills is a plus and the potato and gravy here has much more Flavour than KFC. Overall a great experience on par if not better than KFC. Highly recommend!
Ordered 10 piece family meal and was only given 8 and also zero thighs was inside the box. Even asked prabh who was serving me and said that they will put mixed pieces which never happened and still missing two pieces. Got photos and receipt attached Pathetic service
Very Poor service. I ordered original tenders and I was given spicy. I ordered for BBQ sauce and I was given a tomato sauce. When I told the service crew, she just said that they don’t have BBQ sauce anymore, no apologies at all. About the spicy chicken, she said it’s original, but it’s obviously spicy from the look of the coating and alas it was spicy when I ate it and my daughter didn’t eat it. Chicken is very dry, it tastes like a frozen chicken that was fried straight away, the meat texture is weird. Never again.
For the thrid time there were no nacho chips in spicy Mexicana burger...!!!! I am generally ignore it! But come on guys , its everytime !! To far too go back now..
If there is 0, I will give this 0. Staff are not trained to have customer service. They are not resourceful enough to offer any alternative for the customers to be happy with their orders! We went there today, we ordered large combos and the staff gave us regular drink cup, which is okay, acceptable, but I asked that we ordered large combo. She was able to replace the cup into large one. I ordered for large plain gravy and she said there can’t do it today. Which is again, okay, understandable. Now, we have our order, I noticed that she gave me small veggies, which I informed her that instead of large gravy we want large veggies. She was not able to give the large one. Next, disappointing scenario, was our chicken looks like reheated 10x and served it to us. Very disappointing! Do not ever go to this fast-food chain, never again!!! We wasted $34 dollars for this wasted food that they gave us. Please do train your staff with best customer service that your customer deserved as we are paying what we deserved!
Went to buy my regular meal however, I was thoroughly disappointed to find out that Texas chicken had changed their gravy supplier. Don’t bother adding a potato and gravy to your meal as the new gravy is absolutely disgusting. By reading some reviews that have been left by other customers, it looks like they also agree. I hope they bring back the old gravy.
Very poor service. I ordered hot and spicy chicken n wings. When I turned up to collect my order they told me they had no spicy chicken left and neither did they have any wings left. There excuse was because it was a long weekend they ran out. Very poor management from a fast food joint. Staff Obviously doesn't know how to do inventory and stock control. I then asked for a refund and they told me they cannot do a refund. I then had to explain to them it's not my fault you they didn't have the items I ordered and finally got my refund. It was my first visit at this texas chicken branch and it'll be my last visit also.
It's in a food court, drink station always disgusting dirty ,sticky and straw rubbish. Waiting for food that is prepped to serve ,rakes longer WHY? Customer service is somewhT need upgrading and what is with the plain tasteless mash n gravy? And a tasteless biscuit,hardly no honey on top and dry. And old warm fries,anyone could tell. Like prep and serve hot fresh food, people pay good money for.
