Over the last couple of years our family have lost a number of loved ones and every single time we have chosen to use Terry Longley and Son Funeral directors. The level of service has been outstanding and the compassion and empathy shown at a very difficult time has been second to none. From the minute the process started right down to the follow up calls weeks later, they let you know they genuinely care and you know are in good hands. We felt Michael Bates was exceptional to deal with, nothing was too much trouble and he even offered us a key to the viewing room so we could go in at any time of the day or night to say our goodbyes. Anne Fortune also spent a great deal of time with us ensuring nothing was missed out of the service and showed such devotion not just to her role but to our family. Thank you so very much Terry Longley and Son team, you are absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend you!
These guys were absolutely wonderful when our dad passed away. Tony especially, very gentle and understanding and compassionate. Our family were put at ease from beginning to end by Tony and helped ease our grief thereby. Highly recommended
Very professional, warm and nice service which let me feel my son was highly respected and looked after. Very quick and skilled arrangement even on weekends. It was very nice that we could keep the key to see and say goodbye to my little boy in the well decorating viewing room based on my son’s favorite character PJ MASKS. It made us feel better though lost him is really really sad. Thank you thank you very much. Highly recommended.

Terry, thank you so much, you represented our Son with grace, swagger, style, and with so much awhi.... you are like a waka in a river, gently flowing downstream with our loved ones on their final journey. Absolutely professional team. Highly recommend. Polite helpful reception staff, and the Funeral Directors are fantastic. The compassion, organisation, advice and support has been wonderful for us over the years as we have had elderly parents pass away. Would not deal with any one else in Hawkes Bay.
