We feel very lucky to have discovered Terraced Chalets. Not only were the hosts Jane and John warm, friendly, responsive and helpful, but the accommodation is super clean, well set up and well positioned in a beautiful, quiet and sunny spot. Parking and laundry facilities make it easy for travellers and when we had ongoing changes due to ferry problems, both Jane and John were really helpful in accommodating our needs. Izzy, the dog, is the added bonus to this highly recommended spot to stay.
Jane and John were amazing hosts! Very accommodating and the chalets are perfectly equipped: stunning views, comfy beds and so clean! I will definitely be back to stay longer. Loved it!Rooms: 5/5
We stayed for two nights at terraced chalets. Absolutely beautiful location and Chalets themselves were modern and with everything you might need for your stay. Jane and John along with Izzy the dog were so welcoming and provided some excellent local knowledge of must see places. Only a 10min drive from motueka, perfect start point for anywhere you would visit. Will definitely go back and stay there! Have already told my friends about this beautiful place. Excellent value for money too!
What makes the stay really special is are the hosts Jane and John. Thoughtful and generous they go out of their way to make sure you are looked after. Our bikes were stored and charged out of the rain. Amazingly they ensured we had transport to the restaurant and the Able Tasman boat trip. Jane and John are the best hosts ever. Their three studio chalets are located in expansive and interesting gardens. They are immaculately clean and well provisioned with kitchen necessities. Home made cherry preserve was my highlight of the included breakfast. One unit has mobility access and bathroom.
We stayed here for a couple of nights and the views are unbeatable. Very convenient drive to Kaiterteri beach. The hosts are super nice and we wished we could have stayed a couple of additional nights. The Thomas Bros ice cream joint near the house is a must try for real fruit ice cream. There is so much to explore in the region.Rooms: 5/5

Our hosts, John and Jane, made our stay extra special with their hospitable, kind and generous efforts. The chalet is extremely comfortable, immaculate and peaceful, with wonderful views over the Riwaka region. I highly recommend a stay here!Rooms: 5/5
Our group had a wonderful time at the chalets, which were ideally located near Kaiteriteri beach and Motueka township. There was plenty of space outside, air conditioning was brilliant, all the kitchen equipment we needed, outdoor BBQ was fantastic to have shared dinners, washing machine came in handy after our day trips. Jane and John were fantastic hosts and very knowledgeable about the area including suitable restaurants able to cater to gluten free needs. The chalet itself was clean and tidy, a comfortable bed, great shower. We would love to stay again should the opportunity arise.
