Foi dedicado em 20 de abril de 1958 por David O. McKay, sendo um dos primeiros templos SUD a ser construído na Oceania.

Every visit I've made has been full of peace and beauty. I love the temple lit up at night. The Christmas lights during the holiday season are wonderful. This place is a must-see whether you are a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or not. Come and see.

Absolutely beautiful location. The views from the temple are lovely. The missionaries inside are friendly and helpful. There is so much beautiful artwork and information in the visitors center. I loved this place!

I worked there for 9weeks it was an honor to be in the temple it was looking awesome when I left with oak architraves and marble skirting, marble every where, large mirrors wow will be going to the opening not sure when
