Choice old pub in town close to supermarket. Owned by locals and very friendly n clean. Cold beer , rooms, good food.
Very old architectural style. Tidy and clean ,prices can also accept. in winter is best time to visit here.

Only hotel in takaka come here for lunch as well dinner every time we come up to vist family and friends
My wife and I spent two nights at the Telegraph Hotel. Granted, it wasn't a 5-Star accommodation but we knew that. It was clean, tidy, in the center of town and the price was right. We enjoyed the colorful bar downstairs and all of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We will return again next year.
Good atmosphere friendly staff too A+
All fine besides the wifi that was not working in my room at all, also they have no dry cleaning and some bathrooms and showers don't close or lock
