TECT Pongakawa is a 1100m2 Sport and Recreation facility that opened August 2013. It has an international sized Netball, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Kiwi Volleyball courts plus a squash court where you are able to play casual squash.
After four years of dreaming, planning and good old fashioned hard work, TECT Pongakawa - The Action Centre, opened in August 2013. The Action Centre is adjacent to Pongakawa School and is open to other local and regional schools to utilise for their own curriculum and interschool events. Not only is it a facility for schools but business house sports competitions will run here and other community events will be held.
