Dave Bartley is a Licensed Real Estate Sales Consultant for Harcourts Invercargill, specialising in residential Real Estate.

Story

After 18 years in the Venison industry Dave decided to change his career and get into Real Estate. On his first day registered as a Real Estate Sales Consultant he made his first sale and by the end of the second week had already sold five properties. Not bad considering it is not uncommon for a new Sales Consultant to take weeks, months even, to make that first sale.

In his first year in Real Estate he won the prestigious award of “Rookie of the Year” which is awarded to the person with the highest dollar value of sales made in their first year of Real Estate within the Harcourts Group in New Zealand. This is an amazing achievement, especially for a sales consultant coming from Invercargill where our average price of property is a lot less than the rest of the country.

Dave’s successes has continued to grow, been in the top 3 in the Invercargill office for the last eight years and also being in the top 20 in the South Island.

Dave is married to Lisa and they have a daughter, Olivia who is 14 years old and a son, Eli who is 8 years old. Olivia has cerebral palsy and is therefore completely dependent on those who care for her. Olivia’s condition and Dave’s passion for boxing combined to give him the vision and the ambition to become the
Co-founder of the hugely successful charity event “Fight for Kidz” to the Invercargill region.

This magnificent event has raised a substantial amount of money in the past 13 years, giving away over $500,000 to local charities. Dave is passionate, determined and driven in all aspects of life and thoroughly enjoys a challenge. Life is for living and deserves to be lived!

So what is it about Dave that has bought such extraordinary success? He has owned 8 properties in the Invercargill region during his early years as a young and upcoming business person and has personally been involved in all those sales and purchases of those properties. He has experienced lots of the pitfalls of buying and selling so can now be wise for you! He understands the emotions of selling and buying, the process of moving on and moving in and of investing in possibly the biggest asset you may ever own.

Sure, there’s dedication, commitment, passion, confidence, drive and honesty…. all of which go without saying.
