Was pretty interesting but they talked for a really long time and the gingernut biscuts were pretty stale. However there was a great sense of family there and the stories about the ancestors were interesting.
Beautiful people very welcoming and understanding for our send off for mum. Thank you so very much
Changed from my time. Still has that whanaunga tanga about it.

Lovely morning movie and meal.
I celebrated the Maori New Year at Rongo with prayers and songs for a good harvest for the next year. After that we had breakfast at the Marae. Beautiful - lovely food, good people doing the kitchen work. Just awesome. Thank you Kono.
