Purpose
Ratana will be celebrating its Te Waru o Noema Centenary.
A historic event that occurred on 8th November 1918: The revelation of the Holy Spirit and the Son of God almighty that brought the full anointing on Tahupōtiki Wiremu Rātana.
Objectives
A Haahi that has a strong sense of its history will have a better sense of identity to build on for the future. In that, our objectives for this celebration are:
a. To re-discover how our Mōrehu came into being:
• What the early days were like; and
• How we have grown and changed over the past 100 years;
b. To increase awareness.
• Share stories and images that illustrate the breadth, depth and success of our Maramatanga
• Illustrate how our Mōrehu uses our history to improve lives and communities
c. Explore major issues and describe a vision for the future of our Haahi
• Encourage dialogue among Mōrehu about major issues and the future

The overriding theme for our celebrations is:
“Mo Reanga hou e hiko ai te whakakotahi nei”
“Coming together to inspire a New Generation”
