"The Te Puke Golf Club has been at several locations in its history but was bought and settled on its present site in 1978. Golf was first played at Golf Te Puke in 1979. All of the trees bar one were planted at this time, and the huge growth reflects the site’s history as an old dairy farm."

Great course and loved the Nanric Road sponsored nine hole tournament
Pros and cons of a 4 year member: Pros - Greens / fairways in great condition. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Cons - Slow play is atrocious. 6 balls. 4 balls sharing one set of clubs. No concept of letting people play through The tee boxes are uneven.
Fantastic and probably under rated gem of a golf course. 3 tee boxes blue, white, yellow and with decent length off the whites not a typical country course. Great pro shop which was well stocked with titleist gear and a friendly pro. Carts were available and saw a few people with them but it’s an easy walk. Some blindish tee shots and well placed drives were rewarded. Greens were true, well cared for and the highlight of the round. Also a bar and kitchen that was open by 1030! I played in a 2 ball at 730am Friday and it only took 3 hours. Cant recommend highly enough
Played 28/11/22 What an experience, from the pro shop to the course was an exceptional pleasure. The young lady in the pro shop should be cloned and sold to any public dealing business, polite, patient and very professional. This is great for a first impression. Then the golf course, we'll what can say, it is a gem, fantastic fairways, and greens that are all even speeds and true roll paths. A big thanks for a wonderful experience.
Nice course that is well maintained! Good up and down on most holes! Worth taking a round at!
After pretty bad weather the week before,the groundsman did a great job making the course very playable. If you are out this way it pays to play it twice,knowing where to hit the ball can save quite a few shots.
