Stopped in at the Te Poi Tavern. What an awesome country pub! Fantastic, friendly service and the food look absolutely delicious good ole home cooked hearty and etc Alot of bikers tend to stop in there on their rides and those that travel to Tauranga and surrounding towns. I have been told it can become very busy there at times, I can see why! Highly recommend if you are traveling through Te Poi pop on in for a and you won't be disappointed! I only wish I could of stayed longer!
Stopped here for lunch. Had a BLT and chips. Was not disappointed. Friendly staff. Very cool old fashioned pub. Had a good chat with some locals. Hope to return.
Worst place ever in regards to friendliness and hospitality. Was on the road for 2 hours and busting for the toilet. Nicely asked if I could please use their loo and the lady says only if I was a paying customer, then literally walks behind the bar asks me what I want while I'm crossing my legs trying really hard not to wee my pants
Great place to stop for a drink and a good meal. Staff are great people and make you feel welcome. Mussels fritters are worth the visit on their own. Others raved about the burgers which also looked great. A must stop on your travels.

Country pub at a crossroad of highways. Publican very friendly and the food is HOMECOOKED. Perfect stopping place for a pint and a feed.
