Great spot to sit inside/outside and qatch the world go by. Popular bike spot, with cherry barstaff and great food. Refreshments to cover most flavors, highly recommend the chowder and toasted sandwiches
Underwhelming. The $26 platter had a sprinkle of chips, 4 chicken nuggets, a few spring rolls, some onion rings and 3 fish bites. Supposedly the large chips is a dinner plate full. Auckland price bottle beers. Pub was empty at 6pm on a Friday night obvious why. Disappointed. We are from a small town with a pub on main route and get value for money and it's a vibe when you stop in. Won't come again.
Unexpected find, pulled over to pop into the nearby grocery store and discovered this great spot! Real local vibes, fantastic burger and chips, friendly staff and fun watching all the bikes
Friendly staff, delicious Hawaiian Burgers and crunchy fries, plus a very nice Dark Nun beer on tap. And our seats outside in the sunshine made it all even better!
Can't rate food as we didn't order any. Staff were great! Came over for a chat even when they were busy. Really great little kiwi pub.
