I don’t mean to flatter but this is the first time my child and I have truly felt like valued members of a school community although he has been in different schools in New Zealand. Shane, the principal, personally welcomed the new students at the meet-and-greet, taking 20 minutes to walk us through every detail about the school, the curriculum, and, most importantly, to get to know my child. Cath, the vice principal, along with the teachers, were incredibly warm and welcoming.nnI also want to give special recognition to Michelle—she is absolutely outstanding in her role as administrative support and receptionist. Despite her busy position managing interactions with students’ families, she remains cheerful, enthusiastic, and always ready to help.nnMy child feels genuinely welcomed and excited to learn in this nurturing environment, surrounded by such wonderful people.
What an amazing school! We were only here for a year, but my son thrived at Te Manawa. He had a bit of a rocky start, but we had fantastic teachers and principals to support him and our family. It has been amazing to see how much more confident he has become over the past year. We will miss this school and it's wonderful staff. Nga Mihi Nui!
Beautiful people and amazing management! I couldn't be more proud to be involved with Te Manawa O Papamoa. The dedication and care shown by the staff are truly exceptional. I would happily recommend this school to anyone looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their children's education.
Te Manawa o Papamoa School offers so much to the children with a true community focus. The teachers and leadership are excellent, and the school is wonderfully multicultural. I love how Te Reo Māori is actively used. They take great care of the kids' mental and physical wellbeing, reflecting a fantastic philosophy.nnThe principal and deputy principal are very welcoming, greeting everyone in the morning and saying goodbye at the end of the day. The school grounds are pristine, and the community gardens are a lovely touch. They truly think of everything to ensure the best experience for the students. Highly recommend!
This school is racist against maoris. If your Maori and live near here you have to get a jp to sign a copy of the tenancy agreement. Will be asking local ethnic groups to leave there stories here and let me tell you, their are heaps of them.
