So glad that we stop here. A bit of Netherland history and the library are so well designed. Feel lucky for the community here!!!nIf you visit here, don’t forget to support local drink Fixton Fizz!!!
This very special gallery/ museum/ library and exhibition space holds and displays many treasures which tell the stories of tupuna Māori settlers and the immigrant post war Dutch settlers in Aotearoa NZ. What a taonga
Nice and cozy place for stopover. They have a small cafe in house that serve great coffee, they have cakes and snacks too.nnParking is easy just right beside the building, access by side entrance. Building next to wind mill, perfect landmark to spot.nnWashroom is so clean!
Went for 1st time....had been recommended by a friend. Loved it...lots to do for all the family....Loved the blend of the library and museum....the Dutch history mixed with the Maori history was fantastic, informative and fun for the family. Totally recommend to all to visit.
Knew this place from Quartz Museum of Studio when I was in Whanganui. I visited here when I was on my way to southern of North Island. A great little museum. Telling the history of the Dutch immigrants. Library looks fantastic. Toilet is clean.
