Te Awa Scinde Hockey Club is one of the oldest Clubs in HB. We cater for all skill levels, offering both Mens and Womes teams. We aim to grow and develop.
It appears that almost every club website you visit claims to be "one of the oldest and largest". We are slightly different in that although we embrace our historic past we look to the needs of our current and future members. To this end we offer hockey local grades and encourage you to find the level suitable to yourself.
Te Awa Scinde is a Men’s and Ladies Hockey Club based in Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. We have approximately 120 playing members; these include players from 3 men’s teams and 3 ladies team.
We would like develop our club more, enhancing our player base, and being a competitive but social club to play for.
Training is available to all members, and this year we continue to approach coaches who will bring value to our club.
Socially, we believe you won’t find a better club. We put the facilities at the Hawkes Bay Hockey Stadium to great use after every game. The club also offers many summer league teams which are formed by the club members. This will enable you to keep up and improve both your playing and socialising skills.
